Data Deletion Policy -

At Prayer Network, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your account and all associated data from our systems.

Google Play Store requires all apps that collect user data to provide a clear, accessible data deletion mechanism. We take this seriously as part of our commitment to your privacy and trust.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Your account profile (name, email address, profile photo)
All prayer journal entries and devotional notes
Mood logs and personal journal records
Prayer requests you have saved or submitted
All rich-text notes and reflections
Your sign-in credentials link (Google or Apple ID association)
Any notification preferences and app settings tied to your account

Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered. Please export any journal entries you wish to keep before requesting deletion (via the PDF export feature in the Journal section).

What Data May Be Retained

Anonymized, non-identifiable usage analytics (not linked to your account)
Transactional logs required for legal or security compliance (retained for up to 90 days)

These retained records cannot be used to identify you personally.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete Directly from the App (Recommended)

Open the Prayer Network app
Go to Profile / Settings
Tap "Account" or "Privacy"
Select "Delete My Account"
Confirm the deletion. Your account and all data will be scheduled for permanent removal.

Option 2: Submit a Deletion Request via Email

If you are unable to access the App, contact us:

Please include your full name, registered email address, and use subject line: "Prayer Network Account Deletion Request"

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

Deletion Timeline

In-app deletion: Your account is deactivated immediately. All personal data is permanently deleted from Firebase within 30 days.
Email request: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete deletion within 7 business days.

After deletion is complete, you will no longer be able to log in with your previous credentials. You may create a new account at any time.

Third-Party Data

Prayer Network uses Google Sign-In and Apple ID for authentication. Deleting your Prayer Network account does not delete your Google or Apple account. You will need to manage those separately.

Firebase data associated with your account is fully deleted as part of our deletion process.
